Ronaldo Recognises Hazard's "wonderful job" At Chelsea

Eden Hazard has arguably been Chelsea's best player this season, the 23-year-old is leading Chelsea's title bid with 13 goals in the league. His scintillating performances on the pitch has brought him praise from observers, the latest recognition of his brilliance comes from former Brazil and Real Madrid forward, Ronaldo.

“He’s a very good player and seems to be doing a wonderful job in Chelsea. His hat-trick performance [against Newcastle United] gave him more confidence. He’s very young but very talented so am sure he will do well at the World Cup.”
                                                                  -Ronaldo (RWD football)

Hazard will want to continue with his excellent form for Chelsea by helping them surge past Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Do you think just like Ronaldo, Hazard will become the best player in the world at one point?

Jose Mourinho: Didier Will Return One Day...

Jose Mourinho made a prediction while talking to the press ahead of Galatasaray's date with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge that Chelsea legend who now plays for the Turkish giants will one day return to Chelsea.

"He is one of the most important players in the history of this club. All we Chelsea supporters agree with that."
"We don't say he is the most important because it's not fair for other people who were at the same level and were of the same generation."
"His return has to happen one day, when I don't know. As a player, as a coach, as an ambassador, next year, in four or five years, 10 years, I don't know,"

"But when a person gives so much to a club and a club represents so much to a person, as in this case, I think he has to be back one day."

Mourinho was quick to admit that it isn't the right time to discuss the Ivorian's imminent return to the Bridge and claimed that Drogba remains one of the best strikers in the world.
"We know he is a free agent at the end of the season but this is not the right moment to speak about this,"
"Is he the same player at 36 that he was at 26? I think nobody is but he's one of the best strikers in the world, that's for sure."
Drogba will be out to knock his beloved Chelsea out of the Champions League on Tuesday but apparently almost every Chelsea fan will also want him to return one day.

Will you like Didier Drogba back at Chelsea?

VIDEO, ALL THE GOALS: Chelsea 4-0 Tottenham

Chelsea beat Tottenham convincingly at the Bridge earlier today. Goals from Samuel Eto'o, Eden Hazard and Demba Ba (2x) sealed a good day for Chelsea and their fans all over the world.

Samuel Eto'o mocked "old man" jibes with his celebration after putting Chelsea Chelsea one goal up following an erroneous pass by Jan Vertonghen.

Eden Hazard made no mistake and sent Lloris the other way after Samuel Eto'o was brought down in the box. Demba Ba came off the bench and made his short cameo a very big deal by grabbing two late goals against 10-man Tottenham.

Great performance especially in the second-half, Chelsea have now moved seven points clear at the top and Jose Mourinho will be pleased. Who was your man of the match?

TEAM NEWS

Marco Van Ginkel returned to full training this week. Eden Hazard picked up a knock during Belgium's friendly against Ivory Coast but participated in full training yesterday and Jose Mourinho has declared him fit. David Luiz returned from the Internationals injured, Ashley Cole is injured too.

STRAY INTO HIS BRILLIANT MIND

Jose Mourinho has been in the habit of starting David Luiz in midfield in the big games this season. It has worked so far but Luiz is injured so should be Ramires and Matic together.

There's a decision to make in attacking midfield too, Eden Hazard and Andre Schurrle will almost certainly start. The last slot will be taken by one of Willian, Oscar and Mohammed Salah.

                                    submit football lineup

One player that will have more motivation to win against Tottenham than others is Willian. After the controversies that surrounded his transfer to Chelsea and the involvement of Tottenham, Chelsea fans composed a song for Willian, "He Hates Tottenham". A goal by Willian will surely cause an uproar at the Bridge!

Like Mourinho said, Samuel Eto'o has been Chelsea's best striker at Stamford Bridge this season but he hasn't played as well away from home. All his goals have come at the Bridge, this Mourinho's observation is the reason I expect Samuel Eto'o to start.

PEEP INTO THE ENEMY'S CAMP

#TS confirms #Walker & #Kaboul are "in contention" to face #CFC tomorrow #Eriksen a late test #Rose #Lamela #Chiriches remain out #Spurs

Tottenham have not won at Stamford Bridge for many years (since 1990) and the last time they beat Chelsea anywhere was 2010. They will still be looking to do an upset at the Bridge and walk away with three points in a bid to force their way into Champions League football next season.

                                           submit football lineup

Chelsea fans will be hoping Sherwood either starts Soldado as a lone striker on the back of his winner in their last game or plays the two upfront and allow Chelsea dominate the midfield. Starting Paulinho, Dembele and Sandro away from home looks like the most logical move, with Adebayor on his own in the box.

KEY PLAYER: EDEN HAZARD

Eden Hazard is Chelsea's key player in every game as long as he's fit. Jose Mourinho declared him fit after whispers of an injury following a kick to the knee by Tiote during the International friendlies.

Hazard is Chelsea's best player and the focal point of the attack. He will need help from his team-mates, they will need to create openings for him, finish off chances he creates and give the ball to him when he calls for it.

With Kyle Walker being an attacking minded full-back and Azpilicueta being a reliable defender, Eden could find lot of joy on the counter quite often tomorrow.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham

The last time Tottenham won at Stamford Bridge, Eden Hazard wasn't born.

With all these, Chelsea fans will be expecting nothing less than a win and with what we can see that's not too much to ask of the boys.

VIDEO: Eva Carneiro's Perfect Free Kick

Dr. Eva Carneiro, Chelsea's physio is a very beautiful woman and is very popular among the Chelsea fans. Not many fans knew about her footballing skills. Check out this video of her brilliant free kick during training!

Amazing free kick, isn't it? Yes, Eva is hot! But then this is another reason to like her even more than you do already... isn't it?

This season, the boys haven't been netting as many free kicks and they could do with some tutorials from Eva. I'm pretty sure they will learn ten times faster than you can imagine.

Marco van Ginkel has returned to full training after spending six months following a knee surgery as a result of an anterior cruciate ligament damage suffered against Swindon Town.

He trained with the first team today and shared the picture above with the caption “Nice training @ft9_official.”.

Chelsea fans have been drooling on twitter over his return!

Chelsea TV has reportedly confirmed his return too

Marco van Ginkel has returned to full training this week after recovering from his knee injury. (Chelsea TV) #CFC

Marco's return can't be a bad thing, the potential is there for all to see and he adds to the squad depth at this point in the season where the whole squad will be important. The prospect of him playing alongside Nemanja Matic is attractive too but it remains to be seen the way Jose Mourinho will deal with his return.

Welcome back Justin!

VIDEO: Hazard Dazzles Against Fulham

   http://www2.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Eden+Hazard+Chelsea+v+Manchester+City+uz8y_4N5KZal.jpg

Like everyone else, Eden Hazard didn't have a good first half but came out of the dugout after half-time to gun down the West London whites. The Belgian bagged two great assists for Andre Schurrle first two goals.

Classy "rabona" pass!

Eden Hazard might have been tired against Fulham but once again he made difference for Chelsea. It was his hundredth appearance for Chelsea and he has proven to be a big purchase by Chelsea. Whatever success Chelsea will achieve this season, central to it will be that man, Eden Hazard.

It was two halves of football apart for both Chelsea and Andre Schurrle as the German scored three beautiful goals in the second half against Fulham after a shambolic display in the first.

 Jose Mourinho was impressed too

Well done Andre!!!

Mourinho: "If I Could Choose, I'd Lose To Fulham..."

http://www.todayonline.com/sites/default/files/styles/photo_gallery_image_lightbox/public/16203579.JPG?itok=T9dcoHOb

Jose Mourinho has claimed he wants Fulham to escape relegation this season. "The Special One" said he likes Fulham and other local rivals to remain in the division and that he has an "emotional connection" with Fulham.

”If I could choose, I’d say defeat tomorrow, then 10 victories and win the Premier League, I’d like the London teams to stay up. I have that emotional connection with Fulham, they are our neighbours and our rivals. I think rivals need each other. I think it’s very important for rivals to be rivals. I don’t think it’s good to play without rivals and especially local rivals. I think it’s good for everybody. Hopefully they can stay in the Premier League. Tomorrow, we have to try to win but. I’m concerned with people that I know and do their best for the club and the people I have contact with and I’d like them to stay in the division, nothing else.”
                                                                 - Jose Mourinho (getwestlondon)

I guess Jose Mourinho's soft spot for Fulham could be in large part because of his son who is a goalkeeper and was recently signed by Fulham. Mourinho surely and admirably loves his family, but like he said, we have to try and win. I can assure you that Mourinho wants this win as much as if not more than anyone else. His son is a Chelsea season ticket owner and this match will question his own loyalty too.

Jose Mourinho: "I Can't Rest Eden."

    http://cdn.images.express.co.uk/img/dynamic/67/590x/hazrad_mourinho_PA-441844.jpg

Jose Mourinho has admitted he cannot afford to rest his main man, Eden Hazard even though he agrees the Belgian is in need of it. Chelsea currently sit at the top of the Premier League table. Eden Hazard's 12 goals and 6 assists shows he has been very important for Chelsea.

“He needs a rest, It would be perfect if his national coach doesn’t play him on Wednesday. But he cannot have a rest with the club. His national team plays friendly matches, he needs a rest and they could give him a rest.”
                                                                          - Jose Mourinho

When asked if he could rest Hazard

“No I can’t. He’s important for us even if he is tired because I know he can produce things. I prefer to have him on the pitch than don’t."
                                                                             - Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho was also asked if he will tell Belgium's coach to rest Hazard.

“I don’t do that. I respect the national coaches and they do what they want.”

Mourinho Backs Lampard And Cole

      http://www1.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Ashley+Cole+England+Training+Press+Conference+75vJ4_MCcaVl.jpg

Jose Mourinho has suggested that Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole deserve to go to the World Cup at Brazil this summer.

"It is not my decision, but I try to be pragmatic, so if one day I am the national team manager of any country, I are the players I am going to take to the Euros or the World Cup. They took me, by qualifying, so after that, I take them on my plane.  I don't think it makes a lot of sense if you trust some players to do qualification and, after that, you don't select them and pick others."
                                                                                 - Jose Mourinho (Sky Sports)

http://cdn.images.express.co.uk/img/dynamic/67/590x/mou_getty_finger-454017.jpg

Roy Hodgson hinted that at least one of his veteran players will not make it to Brazil. Hodgson's comment most likely prompted Mourinho's reaction probably because Cesar Azpilicueta has taken Cole's place in Chelsea's starting eleven.

http://d.ibtimes.co.uk/en/full/1365729/ashley-cole.jpg?w=660&h=433&l=50&t=40
Both Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole were selected in Roy Hodgson's 30-man for the friendly match against Denmark. Mourinho's opinion makes a lot of sense but it remains to be seen if Hodgson will take to his advice.
